Arty Girlz Challenge #27 ~ 'CHOCOLATE' with Guest Designer Sam Morris & Sponsored by RIBBON MAD

This week's challenge is Sponsored by Ribbon Mad and look at this lovely prize they have sent for one lucky person to win
Ribbon Mad has a huge selection of ribbons, ric racs and braids available to buy by the metre or in one of their coordinated kits. They also stock lots of gorgeous embellishments, stamps and general crafty bits and first class P&P is free on all UK orders over £5 ;)

Not only can you win a prize but also we have the very talented Sam Morris as our Guest Designer this week and she has set you a brilliant challenge.

Here is Sam's Challenge:-

Make something that includes chocolate! Chocolate coloured paper, ribbons, flowers, chocolate smelling embossing powder. A chocolate cake perhaps! The only other condition is that it HAS to include only one other colour (oh ok I'll let you have white too then lol)

Here is Sam's stunning creation followed by a short bio from the lady herself :-

I've been crafting in one form or another since I can remember (ah fond memories of play dough lol) and I come from a pretty crafty family ....someone was always making something (even if it was just me making a mess!) I first got into papercrafts when I made my own wedding invitations almost 4 years ago and since then it's taken over most of my time, the house, the budget....

Thanks Sam for a wonderful challenge ~ Click HERE to go to Sam's Blog

Here's Julie's ~ 8.5" x 11" layout using chocolate and blue colours

We also have a wonderful Guest Designer this week ~ Emma Phillips.

Here's Emma's fabulous creation followed by a short bio from the lady herself
'My name's Emma, I'm 33 and live in Staffordshire with my Husband of 5 years Del and our gorgeous children Evie who is coming up 4 and Rowan who is 8 months. I work part-time at my local college so my crafting time is often limited to evenings after the children are in bed. I've been crafting in one way or another since my childhood and I've tried my hand at Fimo, ceramics, watercolour, glass painting, glass engraving, jewellery making and for the last 10 years card making and for the last 5 years scrapbooking and altered art. I find crafting very therapeutic and I love attention to detail..... I'm also a perfectionist which is a real problem sometimes as things often end up in the bin if I don't feel it's going right. I'm really enjoying Blogging, it's lovely visiting other people's blogs and commenting on their fantastic creations, thank you to everyone who visits mine and leaves such lovely comments it's very much appreciated.'

Isn't Emma's creation stunning!! To see more photo's click HERE to go to Emma's blog.
was kind enough to send myself and Crissi the same kit that is being offered as a prize so that we could use it in our examples ~ This is what we created:

We have the lovely Debbie as our Guest Designer this week. Here is Debbie's beautiful creation followed by a short Bio from the lady herself ~ You can check out Debbie's blog HERE

Hi, my name is Debbie and I’m a 34-year old craft addict! By day I work in IT Compliance and Security for a Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices company and by night I live in my beautiful home with two gorgeous Chihuahuas. I have been crafting for 8 years now. A lady at work got me into it and took me to the Hobbycraft show at the NEC – and all I could think was – stamping images in black and colouring them in would not look that great – how wrong I was! Once the possibilities became evident to me, it opened up a whole new world in my creativity. What started as making a few cards for friends and family became a big part of my life (and took over an entire room in my house)! I am lucky to be a member of a couple of great forums and then I found blog land. I have learnt more in the past year than I have in the last 7! I also write poetry so that makes card inserts a doddle, and I love to scrapbook and alter things too. I wouldn’t say I have a particular style as such as I love to try new things all the time. But when I find something I love I tend to stick to it for a while before moving on. Arty Girlz is an extremely inspiring challenge blog so I hope you will join in the fun! Happy Creating! Debbie xx
