Challenge #36 ~ 'Wings' Introducing SKATTYKATS & With Guest Designer CLAUDIA ROSA

This weeks challenge is 'Wings' and that is the perfect theme to introduce you to Skattykats who have just released their fantastic hand drawn "Stylised Ollies"

These cute & versatile owls can be used for both male & female cards. Sheet size is approx A6 and they are clear polymer stamps which are designed & manufactured right here in the UK. They come with their own carrier sheet, simply peel off required stamp & carefully place on to an acrylic block (purchased seperately) the stamp is self clinging, so no adhesive is needed. See exactly where you wish to stamp, no worrying about positioning!

You can purchase these stamps for an amazing £7.99 at the moment so in effect they are less than £1 per stamp - what a bargain!! ~ Click the Skattykats banner to buy yours

We also have another treat for you ~ the very talented Claudia Rosa is our guest designer for the 'Wings' theme. Here is her fantastic creation followed by a short bio from the lady herself
Hello! My name is Claudia Rosa. I am very excited about the invitation to be a guest designer for Arty Girlz!! I met my Canadian husband while he was working for a car company in Germany. When his contract was over I came back with him to the US. This was 6 years ago. We have two wonderful boys, 2 and 4 years old, who are the blessings in my life. I have been stamping for 4 years. I pretty much paper craft every day at least one hour - that helps me unwind from the day and relax. Visit me at my blog, Pretty Pressings, to see what I’ve been up to.

Katty from Skattykats was kind enough to send myself and Crissi a set of her gorgeous stamps so that we could use them in our examples this week

Here's some info from Sally from Bootiful Stampz:-

I have been selling craft supplies online for a number of years now under Auntysally’s Cards n Craft, which over the years changed to just Aunty’ s Store, but one of my first loves is drawing and at school I wanted to become a cartoonist, I use to doodle for hours and design my own characters and also my own papers, but back then the emphasis was getting a “proper job” as my parents called it! So I went down the clerical route and until I had my son, almost 9 years ago now, worked as a Technical Secretary for a well known house builder, after which I wanted to be a full time mum and after 4 more children that is what I am, as well as running the store I also run Aunty’s forum.

Recently I picked up my pens again and started doodling my characters, my bunny was born a couple of years ago and I had him made into a die, I then decided earlier this year to get him made into a stamp, so far there are 10 Bunny Stampz. So then I needed a name for my stamps so came up with Bootiful Stampz, which is a play on my surname “Booth”. More recently I have designed Maggie, who I love to bits and really enjoy thinking up different designs for her, there are currently 28 Maggie stamps and a further 14 about to be released! My 4 year old daughter decided to call her Maggie after a little friend she had at nursery was called Maggie.

My stamps are all hand-drawn by myself and then manufactured in the UK by Tanda Stamps – they are then sent back to me and each one is packaged up by myself. I really believe in the personal touch and all stamps that are purchased are wrapped up like a little present! I always aim to deliver them as quickly as possible, because I know from experience that when I have purchased something I want it to be delivered really quickly!!

I hope you like my Bootiful Stampz

Sally is offering a 10% Discount off everything in her store including the stamps ~ just put AG10 in the discount code box on checkout of the shop!

We were lucky to receive the same stamps as the prize to use in our examples this week ~ Here's what we did :)
