Challenge 23 ~ 'Circles' Sponsored by BOOTIFUL STAMPZ

This week's challenge is 'Circles' so anything goes as long as there is a circle somewhere on your creation..... could be buttons, brads, eyelets, circles in patterned paper etc....

As usual post a photo of your creation on your blog/website or online gallery ... mention Arty Girlz with a link to our site and then come here and leave a comment with a link to your site - easy as that :)

This challenge is Sponsored by sally from Bootiful Stampz ~ Heres a picture of the great prize that is up for grabs. All names will be put in the hat and the winner will be drawn randomly to win these gorgeous stamps.

This is what sally has to say about Bootiful stampz

Bootiful Stampz was born out of a bunny i designed and had made into a die a couple of years ago. He has become my trademark in a way and i thought it would be a nice idea to turn him into a stamp with other details. I am aiming for other designs of bunnys and also other subjects to be released in the future. Stamps range from £3 to £5 for single stamps and £13 - £18 for sets of stamps.

You can buy these cute bunny stamps and more from sallys store Here also you can find sallys blog HERE

Sally also owns Auntys forum so if you have time pop over there to check it out.

We asked Sally to be one of our guest designers and she has created a card using one of her stamps ~ Heres sallys card

Challenge #22 ~ 'Green'

The challenge this week is to have the colour green on your project, as usual you choose the format so you could make a card, do a scrapbooking layout Altered Art etc...then post a photo of your creation on your blog/website or online gallery ... mention Arty Girlz with a link to our site and then come here and leave a comment with a link to your site - easy as that :)

We have a special treat today as we have the lovely Fabrizio as our Guest Designer. Firstly here's Fabrizio's wonderful creation followed by a short bio from the man himself :-

Hi everyone, I've been asked to do this guest designer spot and I'm very excited about it. A big thank you to Julie and Crissi to trust me enough to have this gig ( I hope they'll call me back, LOL ).

My name is Fabrizio and I've been living in Britain for the past 17 years. The idea was to come to London back in '91 to improve my English and I never looked back ever since. I've done all sort of jobs: McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Benetton...a brief spot at University which didn't work out until I finally found my dream job in a bookshop off Piccadilly Circus.

What I didn't know at that time is that I was suffering from bi-polarism so after an unfortunate series of events...I found myself crafting to distract myself from a chronic agoraphobia (8 years already), bi-polarism and finally diabetes (ain't I a basket full of fun ? LOL). Anyway, paper crafting was and still is my saviour, I wake up thinking 'What am I going to make today?', it gives me focus and enjoy it tremendously.

I had an old blog but didn't post that often on it until I decided to create a new one on Blogger this January and I met lots of really nice crafters with their own stories to tell. I also frequent a few forums where I swap cards or ATC.

My style of crafting is quite eclectic, I like to try all sort of techniques and new paper combinations. I'm more a cardmaker than a scrapbooker (my partner, Vince, is the scrapbooker in the family) but I do enjoy creating keepsakes for my friends and family members.

For the card I made for the Green theme, I've used Déjà Views green pad, metallic brads by Making Memories, the designed was inspired by Susan Cobb book 'Journal of Paper Engineering' published by Hot Off The Press. The card starts as a simple gatefold but you just add a triangular flap on top to give it an extra dimension. Hope you like it !

Ciao ciao ! Fabrizio.
